less is more

He whose desires are few gets them;
he whose desires are many goes astray.
Lao Tzu from the Tao Te Ching Chapter 22.

Alexander the Great asked that mad philospher Diogenes to ask for anything and his wish would be granted. He simply for the conquer of the free world to move, as he was blocking his sunlight. Alexander left wondering what all the conquering was really all about. Alexander name will live forever for his feats, but for all his living, he died young and seemed never to really live.

As you search for fortune and fame, remember what really matters. Diogenes was known to be mad for he had no house or job, but he was content.

Bottom Line: It does not matter what you acquire if you never get to really enjoy it.
